ABOUT the artist
I draw inspiration from the coastal beauty and atmosphere that surround me. My paintings often reflect local scenes - sunlit beaches, rolling waves, and quiet, everyday moments that capture the light, color, and spirit of life by the ocean.

Each day is unique, and with every passing hour, the colors in nature shift as the sun moves across the sky. I’ll head out early to observe the sunrise, paint the beach after a midday surf, return for sunset, or even paint under the moonlight. These shifting moments shape both the energy and emotion of my paintings. Often, my plein air studies become the foundation for larger studio paintings, where I continue to explore the feeling of a place on a broader scale.

Painting and being outdoors are two of my greatest joys, and plein air painting allows me to combine them. Each outing feels like an adventure - a chance to slow down, observe, and connect with the world around me.
